What is Privacy MattersSM?

Privacy MattersSM is a comprehensive program designed to help you safeguard your identity by enabling you to check, protect and monitor your credit rating and good name. Through unlimited access to your Credit Report and Score, you can quickly and easily check to ensure that your personal credit information is accurate and up-to-date.

As a Privacy MattersSM member, you can also receive Credit Monitoring Alerts that notify you of new activity to your credit files with TransUnion. As a member, you also have identity theft protection benefits, a credit card registry service and much more.

When will I receive my Credit Report and Score?

Once you’ve set up your online credit report account and gone through the identity and verification process, which is required to ensure your security, you will have instant, online access to your credit report and score.

To have your credit report and score mailed to you, simply download your request form, complete it and mail it to the address indicated on the form. You will receive your credit report within 7-10 days from the date your form is received.

How do I access my member benefits?

To access your benefits, simply log in using your Membership ID # and ZIP Code to log in.

Is there a trial membership period? How does it work?

Upon enrolling, you may have a trial membership period during which you can use the program benefits as much as you'd like. If you find the service is not for you, you may cancel before the end of the trial period and you won't be charged the membership fee*. If you wish to continue with your membership after the trial period, do nothing and the membership fee and terms you agreed to will be automatically charged to the billing source authorized by you.

All of this is clearly explained in your Offer Details when you sign up for any of our programs, and again when you received your Welcome Information.

* Enrollees will be charged a $1.00 non-refundable processing fee to activate their trial membership, in accordance with the agreed upon enrollment terms.

Can I cancel my program if I decide it’s not for me?

Absolutely. You have the right to cancel your membership at any time. There is never an obligation to remain a member.

Just visit our Contact Us page to send an e-mail or call Member Savings toll-free at 1-800-436-0817.

If you cancel during your trial period, you won't be charged the membership fee.

Can I cancel parts of Privacy MattersSM?

No, Privacy MattersSM is a complete package of benefits designed to work together to assist our members. Unfortunately we cannot separate out specific benefits from the total package.

How do I change my address on file?

Simply visit our Contact Us page to send an e-mail, or call Member Savings toll-free. If sending an e-mail, be sure to include your name, membership ID#, old address and new address for the address change

Is Privacy MattersSMWeb site secure?

Yes. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect your credit card information from unauthorized access. When you place an order online and provide required credit card information, the SSL scrambles or encrypts your information before it is sent to us over the Internet. This protects your credit card information from being read while it is transferred through cyberspace. When we receive your order, the information is kept encrypted until we are ready to process your request. In addition, we meet all of the stringent requirements of the Verisign™ security seal for all online transactions.

How do I opt out of receiving future marketing e-mails?

Sign on using your membership ID number, visit our Contact Us page, select "Unsubscribe to future marketing" from the drop-down menu, and email us your request. Please be sure to include your name and membership ID number as well as the email address you would like us to remove from our distribution list. Please note, to insure you remain as informed as possible on the status of your membership, after opting out you may periodically receive emailed communications regarding benefit order confirmations, program updates and upcoming billing information.
